First Post

Here lies the first post of the Weary Wanderer blog. For those visiting, this is a blog maintained by a very odd college student who is about to go on many an adventure. If you're a friend checking in, great, and if somehow you found your way here through this series of tubes, that's good too.

For those wondering, starting June 15th, I'll be journeying to (drumroll, please):

  • Halifax, Nova Scotia
  • Barcelona, Spain
  • Civitavecchia / Naples, Italy
  • Dubrovnik, Croatia
  • Piraeus (Athens), Greece
  • Istanbul, Turkey
  • Alexandria, Egypt
  • Casablanca, Morocco
  • Norfolk, VA USA
Thank you semester at sea webpage (please don't sue me, just because I can go on your cruise doesn't mean I have a lot of money!)

After that, I'll be heading to Scotland in September. Sometime around the 13th, probably, and starting classes the 21st, the day after my birthday. I'll return sometime between December 17th to January 2nd. Because I'm good at planning things.

So expect updates about those places, as well as the stupid American things I do when there.

Here's to the first of many a good, detailed, thoughtful post. (Or maybe just semi-sentient thoughts)

  1. Be sure to keep an eye out for sea-monsters on the Atlantic crossing, oh and the Flying Dutchman.
